Following an import purchase order from booking to delivery.
One order passes through several stages and several people. This guide shows how IMS connects the commercial, payment, shipping, clearance and delivery information, using examples you can open in the public demo.
Book the purchase order
Start with the supplier, products, quantities, currency, agreed rates and commercial terms. Keeping those references with the order gives the team a shared starting point for the later payment, shipping and delivery updates.
In the demo: open the PO form, choose a fictional firm and supplier, and try adding a product row.

As remittances happen, keep the payment references, amounts, exchange rates and associated bank charges attached to the purchase order. Review the sample outstanding amounts together with the order context.
In the demo: inspect the Banking tab of fictional PO 1019 and open Add Payment.

Shipping-line, vessel and bill-of-lading details help the team connect a shipment update with the underlying order. Review the journey dates alongside the commercial and payment information.
In the demo: move to Shipping, then explore the clearance-agent tab for the same order.

Keep clearance-agent follow-ups, customs references and order-linked charges accessible in the same workflow. The demo illustrates where those details appear; its sample values are not tax, customs or compliance advice.
In the demo: open Customs and Expenses, then compare their fields with the landed-cost report.

Review destinations, grouped quantities and receipt status. Return to the order’s other details to see the remaining follow-ups before reviewing the operational picture again.
In the demo: open Delivery, inspect its sample quantities, and try the Add Delivery form.

A report is most useful when its figures can be understood in the context of the original work. Use the sample landed-cost report and other available reports to explore how the example information is organised.
In the demo: filter a report and return to the relevant order to inspect its details.

Use the demo to identify the screens and fields your team needs. If your process differs, share those requirements when requesting a separate hosted workspace. Availability, setup and any changes are discussed directly.
