WEBSITE & IMS DEMO

Privacy and data use.

This page describes the features of this website and its public IMS demo. Contact contact@paramnahata.com with a privacy question or a request concerning information you submitted.

Temporary demo access

Before opening the working demo, visitors submit their name, email, company/team and workflow interest. Optional phone/note fields and a separate permission to contact are available. These details are saved in the private website enquiry inbox. No marketing notification email is sent by the entry form. The form creates a temporary browser access session, not a software account, and does not verify identity.

Access lasts up to 24 hours and may end earlier if you close the browser, clear cookies or the server expires the session. Both demo pages and data requests check access on the server.

The fictional workspace

The demo uses fictional companies, suppliers, orders and financial examples in a separate read-only database. Add and Edit forms are interactive previews. Save and Delete do not change the records. Please use invented details in draft fields and avoid entering confidential company information.

The demo’s preview scripts stop normal Save submissions. Its server and database also reject writes if those scripts are bypassed. Drafts may still remain temporarily in your browser’s form history or restored tabs; refresh, close the tab or clear your browser data when needed.

Administration simulation

The profile, users, permissions, activity and backup explorer uses fictional records in browser session storage. Simulated users and role choices remain in the current tab until reset or the tab session ends. Password examples are not stored. The action log contains action types, module names and timestamps, not values typed into business forms. No real administrator, company log, backup file or server permission is exposed.

Anonymous IMS engagement counts

The website counts page and feature views, tour starts, tour steps, tour completions and clicks on access-request links. A successful IMS enquiry also increments an aggregate count. These counts help identify which features need clearer explanations.

This feature stores daily totals by a fixed event and feature name. It does not store typed form fields, IP addresses, email addresses, full page URLs, visitor IDs or individual browsing histories in its analytics records. It uses no analytics cookies, local-storage identifiers or third-party analytics service. Counts include repeat visits and are not unique-visitor measurements.

Aggregate counts are retained for up to 90 days. The feature respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Hosting infrastructure may separately maintain normal access and security logs; this aggregate-count feature does not control those logs.

Contact and access requests

When you submit an enquiry, your name, email and message are saved in the website’s private enquiry inbox. If supplied, your phone number, company/team name and selected workflow are included. The existing notification system may send the enquiry to the website owner by email. These details are used to respond and discuss your request.

An access request does not create an account automatically. A separate hosted workspace is arranged after discussion. Contact the address above if you want to ask about or request removal of information you submitted.

Other website storage

The website uses a session for form protection and administrator sign-in. It also has an existing visitor-counter cookie, pn_visited, which can last up to one year and helps avoid incrementing the general website counter on every visit. A saved colour-theme preference may use local storage. These are separate from the anonymous IMS engagement counts.

External services and links

The website loads some font resources from Google Fonts. Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, the VS Code Marketplace and other websites lead to services with their own data practices. Contact details you submit here are not added to a newsletter unless you separately use its subscription form.
